David's message theme is conveyed by something of a "shock and awe" experience which was my first reaction. The idea of "art" as a means of bypassing all the lies we've been taught as truth is invaluable. There was once a popular song entitled, "everybody loves a nut". The best artists don't exist in a mundane world of sheep.

David the artist has had the courage to create and display his " graphic" Art. The role of the Artist throughout the ages has been to speak the unspoken and reveal the hidden layers of the collective unconsciousness of an era. At first I was disturbed by the violence of the dolls postures and suffering. Now I see it was neceasary to serve as an antidote ro the deep sleep of compliance and complicity we have fallen into as a society. People are afraid of the ostracisim of neighbors and authorities from 2 years of censorship. David in his Frontyard Art Display breaks the spell. The shock is cd water to awaken us and begin to do the most revolutionary of all: Think For Ourselves!
